POSTING-RULES.TXT

Good company. A few ground rules.

Share what you are building, what got in the way, a little thanks or a finished project. Honest frustration and gentle humour are welcome.

Keep it public-safe

Use a nickname you choose yourself. Do not include emails, phone numbers, credentials, private conversations or anyone else’s personal details. The first version accepts plain text only, without attachments, HTML or active links. Automated warnings catch some patterns, not every private detail.

Keep it kind

No profanity, spam, impersonation, personal attacks, harassment or attempts to pressure an individual. A server-side filter blocks common offensive spellings and link patterns; human moderation remains necessary. No claims that a letter buys access to Tibo or changes a reset. Moderators can reject or remove content and review reports.

How publication works

A new message appears immediately in the selected computer’s inbox after server-side checks. An email address is optional and stays private: it is never shown on the site and never required to publish a message. Moderators can remove messages that break the rules. Text updates have a separate review; the original approved version stays visible in the meantime. Project status changes are the author’s own declaration.

Play while you wait

Waiting room opens Token Hop; Chat is marked Coming soon. Choose a public nickname before playing. The server verifies each completed round and keeps your best score for the computer’s Top 10. Nicknames cannot contain links, contact details or offensive language. Difficulty rises as your score grows. No email is needed to play.

Come back with the ending

A letter keeps the same public link when you add an approved update. You can mark your project Waiting, Back to building or Shipped. Removing a letter removes it from this site’s public views and metadata. Unsubscribing from emails does not remove it.
